Day 1: Hanoi arrival & city tour (D)
Morning arrival flight is highly recommended
Arrive at Noi Bai Airport in Hanoi, we will be welcomed by our friendly local guide and transferred to our hotel. In the afternoon, we will visit some highlights in cites: the Ethnology museum with an overview of Vietnam Ethnic people, Al Noor Masjid Hanoi in Hang Luoc Street. We then take a 1-hour cyclo ride around the Old Quarter then enjoy the Water Puppet show.
Tonight we enjoy our welcome delicious dinner at a nice Halal food restaurant in town. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi – Halong Bay Cruise – 4 hours – Overnight Train to Lao Cai (B, L, D)
This morning, we will take 180 KM to Halong Bay, which was recognized by UNESCO as the World Natural Heritage in 1994 and 2000. On arrival, we will board our private boat and start 4-hour cruising while having lunch. Our cruise will pass through the Islet of Rocky Dog, Incense Burner, and Fighting Cock.
Dock at Heavenly Palace Cave, one of the most beautiful caves for 45-minute visit before going back to our cruise and set back to the pier. After that, we drive back to Hanoi in good time for Halal food for dinner and board the overnight train to Lao Cai.
Day 3: Sapa – Cat Cat Village (B, L, D)
Upon arrival, we will be welcome at the Station by our local guide and transferred to hotel. On the way, we stop and visit the nearby China/Vietnam border gate where we can observe the start of early-day trade taking place between the two countries. About one hour’s drive on a scenic route brings us to Sapa, an old French trading town set high on the mountainside with spectacular views all around.
Early Check in to the hotel, there will be free time to explore the market. After lunch we will take a 3-hour walk to Cat Cat village of the H’Mong people and visit the waterfalls en-route. Then we will return to Sapa town to visit the local Market. Overnight at hotel in Sapa.
Day 4: Sapa – Lao Chai – Ta Van– Bus back to Hanoi (B, L)
Today, we have our journey overlooking beautiful, terraced rice paddies through two villages of Lao Chai and Ta Van of the H’Mong and Giay hill people. We will take a 3 hour trek to visit them, returning to Sapa with lunch. The afternoon, we are free to explore this interesting town.
Around 4:00 PM, we will in our Express Bus to go back to Hanoi. Arrive in Hanoi at around 9 PM, we will check in the hotel for the night.
Day 5: Hanoi Shopping – Departure (B)
Today, we are free time for shopping at the Old Quarters or at leisure until our car arrives to take us to the airport for the departure flight. Tour ends.
