Day 1: Hanoi arrival (D)
Welcome on arrival at Noi Bai airport by our guide, we will transfer to our hotel in the city centre and check in. In the afternoon, we will take a cyclo ride around the Old Quarters through a maze of narrow streets, shops and restaurants. End the ride in the Thang Long Water Puppet Theatre by Hoan Kiem Lake for a 45-minute water puppet performance. Dinner and spend the night in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi City Tour & Firework from Apricot Hotel (B, L, D)
After breakfast at hotel, we will have full day exploring Hanoi capital. We first visit Ho Chi Minh complex with Ho Chi Minh’s mausoleum, Ho Chi Minh’s simple stilt-house and fish pond, the Presidential Palace, Ho Chi Minh Museum. The last stop in the complex is the ancient One-Pillar Pagoda. We then drive to the Temple of Literature, the first university in Vietnam which originally built in 1070.
After lunch at KOTO restaurant that supports for the disadvantage children, we will drive to the Museum of Ethnology which shows full information on 54 distinct groups in Vietnam. The rest of the day will be free time for shopping at the Old Quarter.
In the evening, we will walk to Apricot Hotel, a newly opened 4-star hotel with perfect location of overlooking Hoan Kiem Lake. Enjoy an indulgent International Buffet with over 60 exquisite locals and International dishes with free-flow of wine, beer and soft drink. Get a ticket for the party ‘Fire up for the night’ held at the Rooftop bar of the Apricot hotel for a spectacular firework show on Vietnam’s Independence Day. We spend this memorable day in your hotel in Hanoi.
Day 3: Hanoi – Halong Bay – 4-hour cruise – Hanoi (B, L, D)
Pick up at our hotel in Hanoi at around 8 AM, we will drive to Halong Bay. The drive takes us around 4 hours with one stop en-route passing through beautiful landscape of Vietnam. On arrival in Halong at noon, we will get on our private boat for a 4-hour leisurely cruise in Halong Bay towards Islet of Rocky Dog (Hon Cho Da), Incense Burner (Hon Dinh Huong) and Flight Cock (Hon Ga Choi). Lunch will be served on boat with seafood mainly.
Our cruise then docks at Heavenly Palace Cave, one of the most beautiful caves in Halong Bay for 45-minute visit. Return to the cruise at around 3.30 PM, we will cruise back to Bai Chay Pier and ends the tour at around 4 PM. After that, we will get on our car and drive back to Hanoi for overnight accommodation.
Day 4: Hanoi Shopping – Departure (B)
Free time for shopping at the Old Quarters or at leisure until our car arrives to take us to the airport for departure flight. Tour ends.
