Day 1: Hanoi arrival (D)
Welcome on arrival by our guide and driver, we will take 40-minute drive to our hotel located in the city centre. After checking-in and a short relax, we will sit in a cyclo to explore the Old Quarters of Hanoi, seeing the daily life of the locals. The ride ends at Hoan Kiem lake, we then take some steps crossing The Huc Bridge to visit Ngoc Son Temple. We end today’s activity with 45-minute exciting show of Water Puppet. Candlelit dinner in a nice restaurant and spend the night in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi City Tour (B, L, D)
Today, we will have a full day exploring some of the major highlights in the city. Our first stop is Ho Chi Minh Complex with visits to his mausoleum, Ho Chi Minh Museum with displays on his life and work, his simple house-on-stilt set in a quiet garden and fish pond, the Presidential Palace and the nearby One Pillar Pagoda which was originally built in 1028. Our next stop is the Temple of Literature – one of the symbols of Hanoi, the first university in Vietnam from 11th century.
After lunch, we visit the Museum of Ethnology, an interesting museum on the 54 distinct groups in Vietnam. Back to the city centre for shopping at the Silk Street or free at leisure. Dinner and overnight in Hanoi.
Day 3: Hanoi – Halong Bay – Overnight on boat (B, L, D)
An overnight cruise in Halong Bay is a highlight of all Vietnam tours, especially for honeymooners and once we get there, we will understand why it’s included in your tour.
Our tour starts from the hotel at around 8.30 AM and lasts for around 3.5 hours with one-stop in halfway. Arrive in Halong Bay at around noon, we will board our overnight cruise and check-in our honeymoon cabin. We then enjoy a delicious seafood lunch while passing through several limestone islands. In the afternoon, we kayak to explore the hidden areas of the Bay or swim at Soi Sim Beach or trek to the top of the island. Dinner and overnight on boat.
Day 4: Halong Bay – Hanoi – Free for Shopping (B, L, D)
Wake up early in the morning to breathe the morning fresh air of the bay and start your day with Tai Chi exercises (beginners welcome). After breakfast, we explore Sung Sot Cave – one of the most amazing caves in Halong Bay and passing through Ba Hang Fishing village, Dog Islet and more. Watch the cooking demonstration and enjoy lunch before cruising back to the pier and finding our car to take us back to Hanoi. The rest of the day will be free for shopping at the Old Quarter. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 5: Hanoi Departure (B)
Free time at leisure until our car arrives to take us to the airport for departure flight. Tour ends.
