Day 1: Hanoi arrival, 1/2 Day city + Water Puppet + Cyclo ride
Day 2: Hanoi – Halong – Hanoi – Overnight train to Lao Cai
Day 3: Lao Cai – Sapa Ethnic villages
Day 4: Sapa – Bus back to Hanoi –

Day 1: Hanoi arrival (D)
Arrival at Noi Bai Airport in Hanoi, we will be welcomed by our friendly local guide and transferred to our hotel. After short rest, we will visit the Temple of Literature, the first university in Vietnam dated from 11th century and the Ethnology Museum, one of the most interesting museums in Hanoi. We then take a 1-hour cyclo ride around the Old Quarter then enjoy Water Puppet show. Dinner at nice local restaurant and overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi – Halong Bay Cruise – 4 hours – Overnight Train to Lao Cai (B, L, D)
This morning, we will take 180 KM to Halong Bay, which was recognized by UNESCO as the World Natural Heritage in 1994 and 2000. On arrival, we will board our private boat and start 4-hour cruising while having lunch. Our cruise will pass through the Islet of Rocky Dog, Incense Burner, Flight Cock. Dock at Heavenly Palace Cave, one of the most beautiful caves for 45-minute visit before going back to our cruise and set back to the pier. After that, we drive back to Hanoi in good time to board the overnight train to Lao Cai.
Day 3: Sapa – Cat Cat – Y Linh Ho Village (B, L, D)
Pick up at Lao Cai Station then we drive to Sapa. After breakfast at a local restaurant, we will hike downhill to Cat Cat Village with stops at a beautiful waterfall and a hydroelectric station. Continue hiking through the rice fields to Y Linh Ho – homes to Black H’mong people. After 3-hour walking, we return to the town and have free time at Sapa town. Overnight in a hotel in Sapa.
Day 4: Sapa – Silver Waterfall – Heaven Gate – Bus back to Hanoi (B, L)
After breakfast at hotel, we will depart for Silver Waterfall which offers stunning views of surrounding mountains and lust forests. Stop by a farm for a cup of tea and talk with the local before continue to the Heaven Gate, the highest stretch of road in Vietnam.
Back to the town for lunch and check out, we will in our Express Bus to go back to Hanoi. Arrive in Hanoi at around 9 PM, we will check in the hotel for the night.
Day 5: Hanoi Shopping – Departure (B)
Free time for shopping at the Old Quarters or at leisure until our car arrives to take us to the airport for departure flight. Tour ends.
