Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City Arrival (D)
On arrival at Ho Chi Minh City, we will be greeted and driven to our hotel in the city centre. We will be free to wander around the hustle and bustle city. Before dinner, we enjoy one hour to enjoy Water puppet show in the Golden Theatre. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City Tour & Shopping (B, L, D)
Today, we visit the Reunification Palace, a palace of old President in South of Vietnam during the American war; Notre Dame Cathedral and Old Post Office, the two sites that we can ignore when we visit the city. After lunch, we travel to the district 5 to visit Cho Lon (China town) and visit Thien Hau pagoda. The rest of the day will be free for shopping at the lively Ben Thanh Market. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 3: Ho Chi Minh City – Cao Dai Temple – Cu Chi Tunnels (B, L, D)
After breakfast, we will drive to Cao Dai Temple in Tay Ninh that near Cambodia border. The religion is a hybrid of Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism and Christianity. Arriving in Cao Dai Temple in good time to watch the mid-day ceremony before having lunch in a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, we visit Cu Chi Tunnels and explore the maze of tunnels, some of which have been widened to allow tourist access. We will also see the remains of an American tank as well as numerous bomb craters. Dinner and overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 4: Ho Chi Minh City – Mekong Delta (My Tho) – Ho Chi Minh City (B, L, D)
Today, we will drive to the Mekong Delta and take the boat ride on small canals to visit some local cottage industries, fruit orchards, a coconut candy workshop, a honeybee farm, take a sampan ride on palm-shaded creeks, try a taste of seasonal fruit, honey tea, and enjoy a performance of traditional Southern singing. Later of the day, we return to Ho Chi Minh City for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5: Ho Chi Minh City departure (B)
Free time for shopping or at leisure until our car arrives to take us to the airport for departure flight. Tour ends.
