Day 1: Hanoi arrival (D)
Arrival at Noi Bai Airport in Hanoi, we will be welcomed by our friendly local guide and transferred to our hotel. After short rest, we will take 15-KM driving out of the city centre to Dong Ngac cultural village. We then get on our bike and explore the insiders of the village, stop by the village’s Communal House, the 300-year old house of Do Family before going back to a traditional house for cooking demonstration with delicious Vietnamese food. After lunch/dinner, we drive back to the city centre and spend the night in Hanoi. (Early arrival flight is advised).
Day 2: Hanoi – Halong Bay – Kayaking (B, L, D)
This morning, we will take 180 KM to Halong Bay, which was recognized by UNESCO as the World Natural Heritage in 1994 and 2000. On arrival, we will board our overnight cruise and savour a delicious seafood lunch. Our afternoon will be full of outdoor activities such as cruising through several limestone islands, kayaking among the hidden areas of the Bay, trekking to the top of the island or just easily free for swimming at Soi Sim Beach. Return to our cruise in the late afternoon for refresh, dinner and spend the night on the boat.
Day 3: Halong Bay – Hanoi – Overnight Train to Lao Cai (B, L, D)
Start your day with Tai Chi exercises before having breakfast. We then explore Sung Sot Cave – one of the most amazing caves in Halong Bay and passing through Ba Hang Fishing village, Dog Islet and more. Watch the cooking demonstration and enjoying lunch before cruising back to the pier and find our car to take us back to Hanoi. In the evening, our car will take us to Hanoi Railway Station to board the overnight train to Lao Cai.
Day 4: Sapa – Trekking to Ethnic Villages – Homestay (B, L, D)
Pick up at Lao Cai Station then we drive to Sapa. After breakfast at a local restaurant, we start our trek through spectacular scenery to Y Linh Ho Village – home for H’mong people. After lunch, we continue hiking in the dirt road to Muong Hoa Valley then to the villages of Lao Cai & Ta Van. Check in our friendly family and spend the night in homestay with clean mattress and blanket. Dinner with local food and spend the night in the village.
Day 5: Sapa – Ethnic Villages – Bus back to Hanoi (B, L)
After breakfast, say goodbye to our friendly hosts before continue our hiking through rice terrace, bamboo forest, passing through beautiful waterfall, we then arrive at Giang Ta Chai – the village of Red Dao people.
After lunch, we will continue toward Su Pan Village where we will start our journey back to Sapa and then to Hanoi in a comfortable bus running in the new Expressway. Arrive in Hanoi in the evening, we check in hotel for the night.
Day 6: Hanoi Departure (B)
Free time at leisure until our car arrives to take us to the airport for departure flight. Tour ends.
