Day 1: Hanoi Arrival (D)
Arrival at Noi Bai Airport in Hanoi, you will be welcomed by our friendly local guide and transferred to our hotel. Then take a 1-hour cyclo ride around the Old Quarter then enjoy the Water Puppet show. Dinner at nice local restaurant and overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi – Halong Bay – Overnight on boat (B, L, D)
Remark your holiday in Vietnam with an overnight cruise in Halong Bay in a traditional junk. Start from the hotel at around 8.30 AM and take 180 Km drive to Halong with one-stop en-route. On arrival, board our cruise, get welcomed by the crew member while briefing about cruise’s regulation and safety. After check-in the honeymoon cabin, savor a delicious seafood lunch. Later, you have a chance to see several limestone islands, kayak among the hidden areas of the Bay, swim at Soi Sim Beach or trek to the top of the island. Dinner and overnight on boat.
Day 3: Halong Bay – Hanoi – Short City Tour (B, L, D)
Start your day with Tai Chi exercises before having breakfast. Then explore Sung Sot Cave – one of the most amazing caves in Halong Bay and passing through Ba Hang Fishing village, Dog Islet and more. Watch the cooking demonstration and enjoying lunch before cruising back to the pier and find our car to take us back to Hanoi. Arrival in Hanoi, you will have a short city tour visiting the Temple of Literature. In the evening, we will take the overnight train to Sapa.
Day 4: Sapa – Cat Cat – Y Linh Ho Village (B, L, D)
Pick up at Lao Cai Station then drive to Sapa. After breakfast at a local restaurant, hike downhill to Cat Cat Village with stops at a beautiful waterfall and a hydroelectric station. Continue hiking through the rice fields to Y Linh Ho – homes to Black H’mong people. After a 3-hour walking, return to the town and have free time at Sapa town. Overnight in a hotel in Sapa.
Day 5: Sapa – Silver Waterfall – Heaven Gate – Bus back to Hanoi (B, L)
After breakfast at the hotel, depart for Silver Waterfall which offers stunning views of surrounding mountains and lush forests. Stop by a farm for a cup of tea and talk with the locals before continuing to the Heaven Gate, the highest stretch of road in Vietnam. Back to the town for lunch and check out, get on Express Bus to go back to Hanoi. Arrive in Hanoi at around 9 PM, we will check in the hotel for the night.
Day 6: Hanoi Departure (B)
After breakfast, visit the Temple of Literature, the first university in Vietnam then have free time for shopping at the Old Quarter until the driver arrives to take us to the airport for departure flight. Tour ends.
