Day 1: Hanoi arrival & city tour

Day 1: Hanoi arrival (D)

Arrival at Noi Bai Airport in Hanoi, we will be welcomed by our friendly local guide and transferred to our hotel.
After short rest, we will visit some highlights in cites: the Ethnology museum where will have idea about Vietnam Cultures and characters, visit the Mosque in Hanoi located in Hang Luoc Street. We then take a 1-hour cyclo ride around the Old Quarter then enjoy Water Puppet show.
Tonight we enjoy our welcome delicious dinner at a nice Halal food restaurant in town. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi – Halong Bay – Overnight on boat (B, L, D)
After breakfast at hotel, around 08:00 AM, we transfer Halong Bay which was recognized by UNESCO as the World Natural Heritage in 1994 and 2000 with 3,5 hours driving on the road. On arrival, we will board our overnight cruise and savour a delicious seafood lunch. We will be passing through several limestone islands, kayaking among the hidden areas of the Bay, swimming at Soi Sim Beach or trekking to the top of the island. Enjoy dinner and overnight on deluxe junk.
Day 3: Halong Bay – Hanoi – Overnight Train to Lao Cai (B, L, D)
Start your day with Tai Chi exercises before having breakfast. We then explore Sung Sot Cave – one of the most amazing caves in Halong Bay and passing through Ba Hang Fishing village, Dog Islet and more. Watch the cooking demonstration and enjoying lunch before cruising back to the pier and find our car to take us back to Hanoi. In the evening, our car will take us to Hanoi Railway Station to board the overnight train to Lao Cai.
Day 4: Sapa – Cat Cat (B, L, D)
Upon arrival, we will be welcome at the Station by our local guide and transfer to hotel. On the way, we stop and visit the nearby China/Vietnam border gate where we can observe the start of early day trade taking place between the two countries. About one hour’s drive on a scenic route brings us to Sapa, an old French trading town set high on the mountainside with spectacular views all around.
Early Check in to the hotel, there will be free time to explore the market. After lunch we will take a 3 hour walk to Cat Cat village of the H’Mong people and also see the waterfalls. Then we will return to Sapa town to visit the local Market. Overnight at hotel in Sapa
Day 5: Sapa –Lao Chai – Tavan – Bus back to Hanoi (B, L)
Today, we have our journey passing through beautiful, rice paddies through two villages of Lao Chai and Ta Van of the H’Mong and Giay hill people. We will take a 3 hour trek to visit them, returning to Sapa with lunch. The afternoon, we are free for exploration of this interesting town.
Around 3:00 PM, we will in our Express Bus to go back to Hanoi. Arrive in Hanoi at around 9 PM, we will check in the hotel for the night.
Day 6: Hanoi Shopping – Departure (B)
Today, we are free time for shopping at the Old Quarters or at leisure until our car arrives to take us to the airport for departure flight. Tour ends.
