Day 1: Hanoi Arrival – Water Puppet – Cyclo ride

Day 1: Hanoi Arrival (D)
Arrival at Noi Bai Airport in Hanoi, you will be welcomed by our friendly local guide and transferred to our hotel. After a short rest, visit the Temple of Literature, the first university in Vietnam dated from the 11th century and the Ethnology Museum, one of the most interesting museums in Hanoi. Then take a 1-hour cyclo ride around the Old Quarter then enjoy the Water Puppet show. Dinner at nice local restaurant and overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi – Halong Bay – Overnight on boat (B, L, D)
In the morning, take 180 KM to Halong Bay, which was recognized by UNESCO as the World Natural Heritage in 1994 and 2000. On arrival, board an overnight cruise and savor a delicious seafood lunch. Later, passing through several limestone islands, kayak among the hidden areas of the Bay, swim at Soi Sim Beach or trek to the top of the island. Dinner and overnight on boat.
Day 3: Halong Bay – Hanoi – Overnight Train to Lao Cai (B, L, D)
Start your day with Tai Chi exercises before having breakfast. We then explore Sung Sot Cave – one of the most amazing caves in Halong Bay and passing through Ba Hang Fishing village, Dog Islet and more. Watch the cooking demonstration and enjoying lunch before cruising back to the pier and find our car to take us back to Hanoi. In the evening, our car will take us to Hanoi Railway Station to board the overnight train to Lao Cai.
Day 4: Sapa – Cat Cat – Y Linh Ho Village (B, L, D)
Pick up at Lao Cai Station then we drive to Sapa. After breakfast at a local restaurant, hike downhill to Cat Cat Village with stops at a beautiful waterfall and a hydroelectric station. Continue hiking through the rice fields to Y Linh Ho – homes to Black H’mong people. After a 3-hour walking, return to the town and have free time at Sapa town. Overnight in a hotel in Sapa.
Day 5: Sapa – Silver Waterfall – Heaven Gate – Bus back to Hanoi (B, L)
After breakfast at hotel, depart for Silver Waterfall which offers stunning views of surrounding mountains and lush forests. Stop by a farm for a cup of tea and talk with the locals before continuing to the Heaven Gate, the highest stretch of road in Vietnam. Back to the town for lunch and check out, we will in our Express Bus to go back to Hanoi. Arrive in Hanoi at around 9 PM, we will check in the hotel for the night.
Day 6: Hanoi Shopping – Departure (B)
Free time for shopping at the Old Quarters or at leisure until our car arrives to take us to the airport for departure flight. Tour ends.
